Getting to Aqua Wellness Resort

Major airlines run daily connections into Nicaragua’s Managua international Airport (MGA), including American Airlines, Delta, Continental, United, Copa, Taca and Spirit. We do not suggest self-drive at night in Nicaragua, as the navigation, lighting, and road traffic are challenging. We are happy to pick you up and drop you back to the airport – this is included in most of our rates and packages, and can also be organized for a fee.

Aqua itself is located on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, 12Km north along the coastline from San Juan Del Sur. We are next to the coastal fishing and surfing community of “Playa Gigante”. Access is through the cities of Tola and Rivas.

It is also possible to fly into Liberia, Costa Rica, which is also serviced by many international carriers, and Aqua can co-ordinate a service to transfer you from Liberia to Aqua—total trip transfer is around $230 for a van of up to 6 people.
